Yep, that time again kiddies. I know I know, I've been a bit Tardy with these lately (I dont feel tardy) but dontcha think you can cut your old pal Greg some slack here? Thanks a bunch! Anyway, here we go into September and there is still plenty going on. Actually, September is kind of a party month as we wind down the summer stuff and move into fall. So with back to school (stopping to hear the sounds of cheering parents everywhere as they count down the moments as if it were new years eve

Speaking of Labor Day....
THE BIG BANG IS SEPT 6th at 9:05 capping off Riverfest which begins at noon on the 6th both downtown and across the river.

Of course the rubber duck regatta is part of the event as well benefitting the free store.

And what are rubber ducks without dancing chickens?

(Actually, I'm sure they go very nice together but I'm thinking I may have missed by a smidge with that segue) Anywho....

OKTOBERFEST ZINZINNATI IS SEPT 19 11-Mid & 20th 11-10 and of course this years worlds largest chicken dance will be led by Homer Simpson! Dancing Chickens MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! D'OH!

The Pretzel toss and Bier Stein Races will be held Sept 16 & 17 on the square at noon and on the 18th at noon it will be the wiener races (and do you really want to miss racing wieners? Ok, maybe you do)

ICE CREAM SAMMI MONTH! Yes, it really is ice cream sammi month! Will that influence the decision on what this months flavor should be?

Waiting for the judges and it appears they have a ruling on this one and it is.....
YES! But with an amended ruling attached which reads.
We the judges have decided that is a fine idea to celebrate ice cream sammi month by actually celebrating it as ice cream sammi month, however we feel that other hand held treats should feel the love as well so all bars and sammi like treats will be celebrated as well as anything on a stick just because we the judges like things on a stick. So, in conclusion we suggest that you have an ice cream sammi or hand held treat at your leisure (or not) and that you please remember to have a nice day, unless you're a jerk!
And as always all chips chunks dips dunks and the rest are in as well.
